Chicken “Chowmein”
Ingredients:
Chicken 100g, ground/minced
Cabbage 150g, cut into long thin strips
Garlic 2 cloves, chopped or paste
Cilantro and lime for garnish
Dry Spices:
Himalayan salt
Black pepper
Turmeric powder
Paprika
Cumin powder
Corriander powder
1. Add garlic to a hot pan and slightly roast
2. Add chicken to the pan and cook until all water evaporates. Add some water if the chicken is stuck to the pan and cook until dry. Add the dry spices and mix thoroughly
3. Add cabbage and cook to your liking. I cooked mine until the cabbage water evaporated and it became a little dry/crunchy.
4. Garnish with chopped cilantro and lime juice
*You can also add Tamari
*Cook uncovered after adding cabbage so it doesn’t become mushy
*You can add other vegetables of your choice like bell peppers, mushrooms or zucchini
